Unveil the creative process behind this joyful creation as we go through the steps to bring this delightful project to life. So, grab your crafting supplies and let's embark on this crafting journey together!

Step 1: Crafting the Card Base

Begin by cutting a 5” x 7.5” piece of turquoise cardstock and scoring it at .5” on the 7.5” side.

Step 2: Building Layers for the Shaker Element

Cut two additional 5” x 7” pieces of turquoise cardstock, creating frames with at least a ⅝” border. Attach a sheet of 5” x 7” acetate to one frame, setting the stage for the shaker element.

Step 3: Creating the Shaker Effect

For a playful shaker effect, use ⅛” foam strips within the frame, ensuring no gaps. Blend a mix of Birthday Bling DooDadz, Smiley Sprinkletz, Sonic Boom Mix Upz, and exclusive purple beads from the latest BGM Box, the Celebrate Box.

Step 4: Assembling the Shaker Frame

Remove the protective sheet from the foam strips and layer another piece of acetate. Glue on the second turquoise frame.

Step 5: Adding Visual Interest

Layer gold cardstock and pink patterned paper on top of the frame for added visual appeal.

Step 6: Crafting the Interior

Fold the scored flap forward on the original turquoise cardstock base. Cut hot pink cardstock and patterned paper for the interior, stacking and gluing to the turquoise base.

Step 7: Stamping the Sentiment

Stamp the 'Let's Celebrate' sentiment on white cardstock, cut to 4” x 6”, and adhere it to the center of the card's interior.

Step 8: Attaching the Shaker Frame to the Base

Attach the shaker frame to the card base using the scored flap.

Step 9: Adding Dimension with Rosettes

Craft flat rosettes using your Cricut, adding complementary ink shading. Fan them across the front of the shaker panel.

Step 10: Layering the Sentiment

Layer the “Let’s Celebrate” sentiment with foam and attach it on top of the rosettes.

Step 11: Final Touch with Buttons

Finally, remove the shank from the back of the Party On buttons (exclusive to the Celebrate Box) for a flat surface. Attach them to the rosettes, along with star buttons from the Party On buttons pack, using hot glue.
