Teacup & Saucer Pincushion
- What You'll Need:
From Buttons Galore:
- Dress It Up button packs:
- (1) #348 A Stitch in Time
- (1) #596 Sewing Room
- (2) #43 Color Me Pastels
- E6000 Craft Glue
- Buttons Galore diagonal cutters
- Other Items:
- Teacup & Saucer
- 3 inch Styrofoam ball
- 1/4 yard lilac & white cotton gingham fabric
- 1 yard of 1' satin wired ribbon
- (20) 3' long steel pins
Directions:
Cover foam ball with fabric
Pin fabric to foam on the underside
Generously glue pinned side of ball and place into teacup
Pinch pleated ribbon until it fits around teacup ball. Tuck in ends
Dip steel pins into glue and pin ribbon ruffle to ball
Dab glue onto pastel buttons and place on the inside of ruffle, covering pins
Cut back off remainder of buttons and place as pictured onto the cup, saucer and fabric
