Wedding Day - 8" X 8" Scrapbook Layout
Supplies used:
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey 'Perhaps"
Cardstock: Bazzill, Deja Views double sided cardstock
Buttons & Brads: Buttons Galore & More
Acrylic Paint: Making Memories
Step By Step:
- Cut Bazzill cardstock to 8 X 8.
- Tearing towards you, tear corner pieces from the patterned paper.
- Cut oval from the green side of the double sided cardstock.
- Cut matte from the pink side of the double sided cardstock.
- Using a foam brush, lightly dry-brush with the paint along the edges of all paper pieces.
- Mount the torn pieces in opposite corners, leaving a mat edge of the cardstock visible and leaving the center of the larger portion loose from the cardstock.
- Using an craft blade, cut two 1/2" slits vertically and parallel to each other through the larger patterned corner.
- Run the velvet ribbon through the slits, and secure around the back of the layout to hold in place.
- Attach the larger photo asymetrically to the pink mat and apply to layout.
- Attach the oval photo to the green oval mat and apply to the layout.
- De-shank the violet buttons and adhere to the layout, using the floral motif in the paper to decide placement.
- Place the brads in their places and secure.
